REDEMPTION hill Children's ministry

Philosophy of Ministry

The words of God in Deuteronomy 6 make it clear that God gives parents the responsibility of educating, training, and nurturing their children in the things of God. God has given the church the task of assisting parents. Our Children’s Ministry seeks to offer parents this assistance and support through a variety of weekly programs.

Sunday Morning Opportunities

  • Babyland (infants to 24 months)
  • Toddlerville (2-3 years old)
  • Beginner Buddies (pre-school 4 years - Kindergarten)
  • Primary Pals (grades 1, 2, and 3)

Our Children's Ministry on Sunday mornings happens during both the 8:15 am and 10:15 am services. Those in 4th and 5th grade will worship with their family on Sunday mornings. Our desire is that they learn how to engage with the sermon and takeaway key points for their level of understanding. We are passionate that our parents and kids be able to have Gospel conversations surrounding the morning message.

Wednesday Evening Opportunities

For those in 3rd - 5th grade, we offer our Adventure Club from 6:30 - 8:00 each Wednesday evening during the school year. Kids will have the opportunity to build relationships, learn gospel truths, and have fun game times. We hope to see you there!

For questions about our Adventure Club, please contact Drew and Sunny Richmond or contact Steve and Laura Palmer.

Redemption Hill Youth Ministry

Our Redemption Hill youth ministry is all about connecting 6th - 12th grade students with the good news of what God has done through Christ!

The youth in our city desperately need the Gospel and personal discipleship. So all of our events and activities are designed to assist them in these key areas. We believe our youth need mentors who are passionate about God and His Gospel.

It is ultimately the responsibility of the Christian family to raise up young men and women into Christ-like maturity. But we also realize that there are many youth who lack a Christian presence in their home. Our goal is to meet students where they are, love them, and speak truth into their lives.

During the school year, we meet every Wednesday night from 6:30pm - 8pm for a time of dynamic teaching and worship, small groups, and a lot of fun and laughter. You won't want to miss it! And on the last Saturday of each month, come join our Double Headers, where we just hang out, play games, and enjoy living life together.
