There are 4 topics to choose from! Each topic will last three hours - please choose one topic to attend each day. No children's options are available on Friday night. The topics and speakers are: 1. Run Well, Finish Well - Ron Wolfe (offered Friday evening only) One of the most persistent problems found among Christians is slow spiritual growth. Many find themselves no further along than when they first believed. The causes may be many, but in Run Well Finish Well, we will examine the main causes for hindered growth: Our failure to cultivate our knowledge and relationship with God as it intersects with the race we are called to run. 2. Theology Matters: Sovereignty of God - Alex Tunnicliff Is God sovereign? Is he sovereign over everything? Are there limits to his sovereignty? How does human free will factor into this discussion? Why does any of it matter? Join Pastor Alex in answering these and other questions relating to the sovereignty of God. 3. Biblical Hope and Healing for Worry, Suffering, & Sorrow - Josh Thiel In this session we will dive into God's word to better understand why difficulty and trials come up in life, and to see how God would have us respond in the midst of them. We will look at how God's word can help us maintain a hope and trust in Him. 4. Deep-Rooted Community - David Hansen In this mandatory session for GC leaders, we will study what the Bible teaches about abiding in Christ and how God uses deep-rooted community to sustain His people through seasons of growth and hardship. Part of our discussion will center on practical ways to shepherd our GC's with faithfulness, joy, and dependency on God.
