RedLife

Please join us for RedLife each Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:15pm beginning February 7 and continuing each Wednesday evening until March 20. There are three classes to choose from.  We ask that you choose one class to attend for the duration of the seven weeks.

RedLife Kids! is also available each Wednesday evening. Child care will be provided for babies age 0-3 years old while a purposeful class with a gospel lesson, activity time, and games will be available for those children ages 4 years old through second grade. Adventure Club will continue on their normal Wednesday evening schedule for those students in third through fifth grade.

The adults classes offered are:

Fundamentals of Christian Theology - Pastor Alex  Tunnicliff

This class will expand our understanding of the christian life as we probe the depths of some of the central theological pillars under our faith. It is essential for the christian life that we get the fundamentals correct in order to build on the proper foundation. Whether you have walked with Jesus for decades, days or are curiously exploring christianity for the first time this class is for you.

Hope and Help for the Hurting Heart - Pastor Josh Thiel

What do you do when you are struggling with real hurt? How can you help someone else who is struggling with loss and grief? In this class we will seek to answer these questions while looking at some specific topics such as: Infertility and Miscarriage, Loss of a loved one, Rebellious and wayward children, Feeling betrayed by a spouse and others. Come learn how we as believers can walk with the hurting, and where we can find hope for ourselves in the dark night of the soul.

Sexual Orientation, Gender, and the Bible - Pastor Ron Wolfe

How Do We Respond with Compassion and Truth to the Gender Revolution? This is a major and growing problem in our time, and needs to be addressed by the church from the Word of God. It is my concern that it is easy to fall into the trap of attacking people and their sinful choices rather than teaching truth with compassion and the hope of reaching some with gospel transformation.

ACBC Exam Assistance Class

Virtual training will be conducted by Pastor Ron Wolfe. Ron and his wife, Joan, have been at Redemption Hill since 1991 and have been in pastoral ministry since 1966.  He has earned degrees from Philadelphia College of Bible, Eastern Baptist Seminary, and The Masters University in Los Angeles where he earned a MABC degree. Ron serves as a Fellow with ACBC, the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.

Ron is motivated in ministry by the words of Paul in 2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith." It is his desire to see your training result in Certification and involvement in your local church counseling ministry.

ABOUT  THE  CLASS
