WHY READ GOD'S WORD?

The Scriptures are the primary way that God speaks to us. Through them we see the wickedness and rebellion of our own hearts; but more importantly, we see the love and grace that transforms us through Jesus Christ.

I Timothy 3:16-17 tells us,

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."

WHERE DO I BEGIN?

You might be new to engaging the Bible for your own life. If so, we would recommend reading the four gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Read about Jesus as both the Son of Man and the Son of God. See His deity as God yet His love for the broken and down trodden. He modeled grace, love, and truth perfectly.
